3rd open call for submitting abstracts and papers
The PROMITHEAS Network is organizing for the second year the International Scientific Conference titled “Energy and Climate change” on 8-9 October 2009 in Athens (Greece). The event is under the auspices of the Azerbaijani Chairmanship of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
Until now the organizers have received more than forty (40) abstracts from Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China, Estonia, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation,Tajikistan and Thailand.
The themes and topics cover Energy (General topics, Conventional fuels (oil, gas, coal, lignite), Electricity, Renewable Energy Sources (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass, tidal wave), Biofuels) and Environmental - Climate Change Policy (General topics, Climate change, Energy efficiency and conservation).

European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition 2009
The European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition (EWEC) 2009 will take place from 16 to 19 March in Marseille, France.
