Training session for National Contact Points for “energy” FP7 EU was held on March, 17, 2010 in Brussels. In the course of training preliminary information about probable content of Work Programme “Energy” 2011. Projects of first priority will be projects directed to demonstration.
In the frameworks of the Work Programme FP7-ENERGY-2011 3 international Cooperation calls are planned to be launched:
International Cooperation
- Coordinated Call with Japan on PV
Project’s requirements: two legally separate projects bound by coordination agreement but with a common description of work. Coordination agreement. Specific structure to proposal submission. FP7 fund European participants; Japan funds Japanese participants.
Rules for participation: Collaborative Project - at least 3 independent legal entities, each of which is established in a Member States or Associated Countries, and no two of which are established in the same Member States or Associated Countries.
Project proposals will only be selected on the condition that their coordinated Japan project is also selected for funding.
- SICA to support IGCC for high-ash coal in India
Project’s requirements: Rules: Collaborative Project - at least 4 independent legal entities. Of these, 2 must be established in different Member States or Associated Countries and 2 in different International Cooperation Partner Countries.
All receive funding – Member States or Associated Countries + International Cooperation Partner Countries.
- Pilot action for exchange of researchers with US and Japan and Twinning of projects
Project’s requirements: Rules: 2 and more organisations from Member States or Associated Countries and 1 or more organisation from Japan or USA.
- Funding European outgoing researchers
- Balanced exchange – to support areas of cooperation between EU – US and EU-JN
